Many of you have probably noticed by now that the ticker you are used to seeing on the right ride of your home page is no longer there. The reason for this has nothing to do with something you did to your settings, it has nothing to do with how many friends you have, or how many pages you have liked.

In short, facebook is making another dramatic change to their interface, much like they did when they came out with the Timeline Profiles years ago. There is nothing you can do about the change, much like the Timeline, this is a change you will just have to accept and get used to. In short, over the course of the next month or so, you may see your ticker disappear for a while, as Facebook tests different techniques, but do not be surprised if it disappears forever soon, as most people consider it a huge privacy invasion.
