How Do I Get the Facebook Timeline Profile?

In short, as you may already know, to get the Timeline Profile, most people will tell you to go to http://facebook.com/about/timeline and click the big green button at the bottom. However, many users are reporting that there is no green button when they go to that page.

No one is sure why this is, there are some theories, and some other things you can try:

Theories
• Some people say that you just have to wait for 30 days.

• Some people say it happens when you update your flash.

• Some people say that you have to have at least 40 friends and some activity on your wall from those friends before you will see the green button.

• Some people say that you can go to one of your friend's Timeline Profiles and it gets automatically converted to timeline.

• Some people say that you can go to one of your friend's Timeline Profiles and there will be a link or button at the top of their timeline for you to click.

• Some people say that new profiles have to wait to be offered the timeline by Facebook, as they convert the older accounts first.

Other Things to Try
• You can try syncing your Facebook Profile with your Pinterest account, assuming you have one, and that should automatically convert it to Timeline.

• You can try finding an app (like this one) that requires Timeline, which will automatically convert your profile to Timeline.
