How can I change my password?

Here is how to change your password. Note: you can also use the "forgot password" link on the login page assuming you have access to your email account/mobile device.

If you log in from a different device without first logging out of the other, you will get a pop up screen telling you to change your password.
However, in fine print below the change option you can click on -skip for now- and use your old log in information.

If you are using a mobile device, open the facebook app, and tap the Menu button in the top right. It looks like this (just 3 horizontal bars)

Then scroll down quite a ways, and tap Account Settings.

Then tap General as shown below

Then tap Password as shown below

If you are using a computer, in the top right corner of your browser, click on the menu with a picture of a lock. Then click on Settings.

Then click on the Edit link to the right of where is says "Password"

Then enter your old password, and your new password 2 times.

Note: you must know your old password in order to change it.
